Bio
Roman Scott is a seasoned pianist and a master of improvisation. Roman started playing the piano when he was 12 years old and has become enveloped in the beauty of the instrument. Over the years, Roman has perfected the art of the piano and has amassed a repertoire of more than 100 pieces. Roman plays the piano in an unconventional manner; he can watch the hands of someone playing a song, memorizes the keys they press, and then play back the song. He then improvises on the piece, adding his signature technique as the finishing touch to his music.
Roman has played at a variety of venues, including galas, restaurants, hotels, and homeless shelters. He performs monthly at the Union Gospel Missions, a homeless shelter that houses 120 men, and annually at the Dallas Convention Center, where he gives Christmas performances for thousands in-need. Roman also plays during the holiday seasons at the Gaylord Texan Resort.
Roman has professionally produced and recorded two piano albums. He made the first one, Legacy 22, had only been playing for 3 years. It features 22 songs in a variety of music genres, including classical, contemporary, and gospel music. His second album, Noel, is a Christmas album dedicated to his cousin Pierce, and spotlights world-class musicians and features renditions of the most beloved Christmas music. Listening to Roman’s music will take you on a melodic experience that is soothing to your soul.
