Hailing from the southern part of Germany, Bodensee, Henrik Schwarz is a long time veteran in the German deep house scene. Djing was his first love, having built a reputation at major events in the early nineties. But a desire to breach musical and technological boundaries pushed Henrik into production and soon his live laptop sessions were born. Today he takes his live sets and nine years of production experience to crowds worldwide. His twelve’s are gaining massive support from the likes of Jazzanova, Gilles Peterson and Sonar Kollectiv.

Patience is a virtue, and it’s one that will reward you greatly when listening to Ed Ed’s new releases on labels like Get Physical, Exploited, Watergate records, Moodmusic and many more….. Building in a considered and engrossing manner, his DJ mixes  will suck you in, spit you out and leave you a sweaty, elated mess.

Bass groove twangs and rasps over a snappy beat, with a minimal approach to the accompaniments opted for at first. Pitched down vocals add a haunting layers, and deep in the mix a droning techno synth rises and falls. Dashes of scintillating melodic scales work their way into the mix, heavily reverberated into the background. Next, a pizzicato style blip riff passes through the track. Stabs pepper the track with more rhythmic intent, their tails extended here and there to draw them out further and deeper. One of the most acclaimed DJ’s and producers from Spain, Nacho Marco’s rich musical history is evident in all of his productions. As comfortable creating a peak time acid number as he is rolling the depths of house, Nacho is clearly influenced by the early sounds of Chicago and acid house and always delivers a modern twist on what is a timeless sound. It’s one thing to take influence from the past, but its quite another to ensure that you keep on pushing forward. He played Sonar more than 10 times, clubs all around the world (from Fabric in London to pacha in Ibiza).

Nacho releases can be found on labels like Pacha Recordings, Kerri Chandler´s Madhouse, Josh Wink´s Ovum, Deep Dish´s Yoshitoshi, Classic, Freerange, Om Records, We Play House, Nite Grooves, Plastic City and on his own label Loudeast Records which he directs since 11 years ago. Remixer of Shakira, Fangoria, Groove Armada, Derrick Carter (Rednail Kidz), Marc Almond, Paul Hardcastle, Tony Lionni, Wally Lopez, Pezzner, etc. and he´s the producer of dream pop band Lost Tapes on renown Spanish indie label Mushroom Pillow.

At present he combines his work as Dj and producer with that of teacher at the prestigious Berklee College of Music - Valencia Campus, guest teacher in Berklee Boston, Roland Planet Milano, Amsterdam Dance Event and IMS Ibiza and Malta editions. He´s also official artist, tester and demonstrator of Roland.

DJ Vivona's musical inspiration started from the sounds of 70's Soul, passing by the Electro flavor of the 80's, and paving the way for the more contemporary sounds of today. His Sunclock label hits the mark with each stunning release that regulary reaches noteworthy positions on the best digital stores, thanks to the support by some of the greatest names in the music business. Lending a helping hand is also their in-house promo SNKE department that have their feet firmly planted on the dancefloor, and ears finely tuned to discover new directions in the genre.
As an artist, DJ Vivona's profile has increased exponentially thanks to having signed a recent deal with the legendary King Street Sounds label, remixing all the legendary tracks in the catalog by Kerri Chandler, Dennis Ferrer, Tiger Stripes, Mood II Swing, and Barbara Tucker. His original productions on King St have also seen their share of quality remixes by such greats as Frankie Knuckles & Eric Kupper aka Director's Cut, Joeski, Basti Grub, Gene Farris, Dino Lenny, Vince Watson, and Rocco. Vivona's live DJ set is an imaginative fusion between Deep, Afro, and Tech sounds without any limit, until Electro vibes enjoyed by thousands of clubgoers.
In the summer of 2019 his "Worldwide" single was released by the legendary Subliminal Records of Erick Morillo. It was one of the best tracks of the Ibiza season for Mixmag.
2020 is off to a great start! Some hot forthcoming hits are already in the pipeline: one with soulful diva Monique Bingham for Sunclock; two more on Subliminal Records, one on I AM HOUSE Records spearheaded by the legendary Crystal Waters and even more releases forthcoming on the legendary King Street Sounds. Here's to a great year!
