Eric Wishes

The story behind the Catane EP is quite simple. Behind the tracks are names of Bars, which Eric Wishes visits before or after his gigs or during the week. He associates many memories with each bar, which he has expressed musically. At Transeuropa, he meets up with old friends from home for a drink and he notices the sounds of the nearby train station, which also influenced the track. P11 is a location, which Eric Wishes is visiting generally after a gig to start the DJ weekend. The atmosphere of a mixture of joy, peace and being at home, he has processed in this track. Catane is like coming home to have good italian food by friends and feeling the joy of life with lots of lovingly smiles. Eric Wishes is a German DJ and Producer from Mannheim (GER). He recognized his love to the music quite early and exchanged the organ for two turntables. Inspired by Chicago House, he has generated his own sound from deep, tech, melodic house and techno over the years. In addition to that he had appearances at numerous festivals like Nature One, Love Parade, Time Warp, Radio Nation, Ruhr in Love, Tanz der Bässe etc. In addition to that, he plays in trendy clubs. These include: Ritter Butzke (Berlin), Halycon (San Francisco), Rok Club (Lucerne), Culture Box (Copenhagen), Tanzhaus West (FFM), FREUD (FFM), Hafen49 (Mannheim) etc. As a part of the German DJ-Duo “Wishes&Dreams” he had a very successful time. One of his strongest releases was "Changes" and has appeared on numerous compilations. He delights his fans with selected and unreleased tracks at his monthly radio show on sunshine live electronic music radio (more than 120.000 listeners per hour). He likes it when the sound is grooving and makes people happy on the dance floor.
