Stepping up to the plate, Drum & Bass future-facing duo FratalOne delivers their full frontal, digitally focused 3-track EP, 'Sacrosanct.'

Blending precision-edge production, the title track 'Sacrosanct' is a masterclass in slicing, mixing, synthesising, and morphing sonically rich audio. A haunting portamento lead dominates the intro, opening the way to a tech Drum & Bass rolling hybrid drop. Rich synthesised elements shimmer continually throughout the track, while a hefty, funk-pulsing bassline keeps the momentum driving through to track's end.

The system has been compromised; Hackers have penetrated and exploited the code. 'Open Source' details stealth audio exploits with its opening artificial bit-crushed FX, staccato stabs, and ethereal vocals. A thick lead builds tension right before the sub-heavy, drum-rolling drop, with AI voices and digitised tones providing ongoing narration to yet another solid tech Drum & Bass roller.

After failing to eliminate the system vulnerabilities, 'Never Learn' makes sure FractalOne's message is clear, 'We learn from history, but we don't learn from history.' The pursuit of reengineering the system continues with an increase in syncopated percussion, bassline edge, transitory FX, ethereal arpeggiation, and atmospheric mystery. Are we predestined to repeat our mistakes? Will we break free from our continual self-induced plights? FractalOne thinks so, but only the future will tell.
