Adroit Recordings remain integral proponents of the artistic culture that propels's Zurich's ever-expanding Techno scene. A multi-disciplinary operation - the label seeks to shed light on the myriad facets that add colour and character to milieu. Be it graphics, painting, podcasts or records - the output remains unique, high quality and expressive.

Previous releases on the label have taken the shape of VAs and artist EPs with contributors including Nur Jaber, Tapefeed, Maiameia and Paula Temple and now - the next instalment comes from fellow Zurich resident Jacom backed up with masterful remixes from Matrixxman and Joton.  

'Take A Walk' kicks things off with a vibrant and pacy vibe. Technical drum work, textures and dubby jabs pepper a kinetic dance floor track. Claps, hats and stabs drop in and out while earworm sonics growl with an intensity that doesn't let up. 

Matrixxman - a Berlin stalwart who needs no introduction - then follows up with a reverberated and foggy take on the original. Hat's slap off concrete walls as a well crafted kick keeps things pinned to the floor. Rubbery percussion and an urgent stab develop across a heady and atmospheric rework before 'Sinking' blends razor sharp tones with a galloping shuffle. 

Moving between tightly packed chapters, the track powers along to hypnotising effect before Joton finishes things up with an expansive remix. Careful stereo mapping renders a deep sense of space as tones are gently bent up and down bringing a varied and effective batch of club tools to a close.
