With Apoapsis, Re present an 11-track LP shaped by years of experience, evolution, and a deep connection to techno culture. Moving between deep, raw, hypnotic, and mental techno, the album brings together different shades of the duo’s sound in one coherent and immersive body of work. The title draws its inspiration from the astronomical term apoapsis the point in an orbit at which an object reaches its greatest distance from the body it revolves around. This idea of distance, tension, movement, and eventual return became a conceptual foundation for the album. Across Distant Form, Iteration, Resonates, Raging Passion, Return to the Vault, Cloaked Presence, Voltage Relapse, Slag, Silent Authority, Tibial Thorn, and Slipstream, Re explore a wide spectrum of contemporary underground techno. Deep and atmospheric passages meet raw textures, hypnotic repetition, mental structures, driving rhythms, and harder moments of physical intensity. Rather than following a single formula, Apoapsis develops as a continuous journey. Some tracks draw the listener inward through subtle progression and repetition, while others are built around direct, uncompromising energy. Despite these contrasts, a common thread runs throughout the LP: tension, depth, movement, and the hypnotic relationship between rhythm and atmosphere. The result is a hypnotic symbiosis of deep, dark, driving, hard, and raw energy rooted in years spent within techno culture while continuing to look forward and explore new territory.
