NACHT003 marks the third release in Nachtmusik’s regular catalog. Lost Moments EP is a six-track record by BONDE that drifts through the hazy space between memory and present time. Rooted in old-school techno and acid aesthetics, the EP carries a distinct 90s spirit: raw machines, stripped-back percussion, and the subtle melancholy of sounds that feel both distant and familiar. There is an undeniable scent of nostalgia throughout the record, echoing an era when dancefloors were darker, simpler, and built around the raw, unpolished energy of music. Hence, the tracks revolve around a quiet theme: the passing of time and the moments that slip away while we are busy chasing what comes next. Lost Moments reflects on the strange tension between constantly moving forward and the unfulfilled longing to return to places and feelings that only exist in memory: Lost Moments that will never be again. The EP features a collaborative track with Ursula Prawn, known for her work with the queer music collective Pervert, alongside a remix by Lemane, whose acid-driven productions have become a staple of the contemporary underground. Ultimately, the release quietly recalibrates the musical direction of Nachtmusik. Although acid textures are predominant, the label’s path is not defined by them. Instead, NACHT003 signals a broader focus on music inspired by old-school techno traditions: stripped-back, machine-driven, and touched by a lingering sense of nostalgia.
