For the 3rd release of the year W133 is excited to introduce Jorge Sanders to the label for his 2nd release after debuting on decoder’s codec. The NYC based artist crafted us 3 originals while searching for harmony in an increasingly dystopian world. The EP starts of with „K Space“, an ode to the bodily sensations experienced in a hypnotic dance ecosystem. It is a breaky tune keeping it minimalistic and trippy. Up next we have „Sleep Schedule“, a driving techno stomper with swirling evil polyrhythmic synth lines making it an experiment in the elasticity of time. The 3rd original is the hardest of the bunch and called „Wait“. A bleeby energetic driving meditation on entropy and the vastness and expansion of space.
For the final track of the EP we are stoked to have Marteka Fair return to W133 on remixing duties. The close friend of Jorge delivers her more technoid version of K-space further exploring the physical and spacial effects of psychedelic dance music on the mind and body.
The artwork is a photography by Philipp Roth and the release will be out digitally on all platforms from 27.3. on.
