Apigenin

Apigenin EP1 Apigenin is a new Berlin-based techno project featuring Solenoid and his nephew, the musician and artist mmoonn. This techno duo self-titled debut with 5 tracks deep, hypnotic and funky techno tracks. The EP kicks off with Coco, deep throbbing beats and synth layered over hats to create a deep and hypnotic sound. Nice multifaceted techno that introduces this new duo’s impressive sound. The second track, Mollusk, again paves it sound with more deep hypnotic rhythms with plucky synth sounds and layered beats driving the rhythms forward for the dancefloor. Next up is Triangular with deep sequences of the synth, four on the floor kick beats that build an exquisite techno route. Again, more synths layered in here to keep the movement fluid. The fourth track is entitled Lifehack. It kicks off with heavy kick introducing those weird synths that are quite dark in their origin. Lifehack is a deep throbbing techno track with glitchy synth rifts coming in the track as a foundational sound. Finally, the EP closes with Kundalini, another beat driven techno sound with a slow build up that unleashes into rhythmic joy.
