Belly Dance Services garnishes late summer season with VARIOUS WORLDWIDE III – it’s the third VA chapter featuring five different artists from across the globe. The journey starts with Tel Aviv based producer LOTT. CAMELS DON’T RUSH, is a great opener driven by one chunky bassline blended with acidic synth elements. A massive tune that shows LOTT’s talent to fuse eastern sounds with western house music inspired elements. Track two comes from DUCATI FLUX, he’s the Co-Label-Head of Berlin based Odd Pleasures and half of Random Atlas. With NAHUAL, the virtuoso of chilean origin gifted us with a catchy dark tune that is full of playfulness and shows the catchy creative side of the producer. The third track comes from berliner HEIDENREICH featuring singer OBENOHNI. THE OPPOSITE OF EVERYTHING is not just the name of the song, it’s also what this indie stepper musically stands for. A psychedelic voyage driven by sudden suspense, and also the intense vocal elements make you feel like in a interactive dance cabaret. The fourth masterpiece comes straight from Amsterdam by PERDU who recently had his release on Live At Robert Johnson. IS IT YOU, FEAR? is a gloomy obscure composition that is guided by percussive elements and builds up to a banquet of trippy grooves. The final countdown is delivered by Mexican ULISES ARRIETA. CONSTRUCTIONS is dark disco at it’s purest manner: metallic drums creating a sticking melody and the vocal samples that reappear… will make the crowd go bonkers.
