This might surprise you, but when The Bearded Man came into being many eons ago, there was no concept of money. A child of the gods, The Bearded Man came to be in an era in which none of our modern trappings existed. In a sense, life was a lot easier. But the trouble was: how can you be a baller when you’re not getting paid!? For hundreds of years, The Bearded Man dreamed of gold chains on his chest hair, of Lamborghinis, Cristal and all that. But it didn’t exist. He’d wake up every morning, look in the mirror and say “Great, another day I’m not getting paid. Nice.” It just didn’t fit with his love of the swagged-out hip-hop lifestyle. So finally, he invented money, fractional reserve banking, and the entire system that we now take for granted. Is the world a better place now? Certainly it is not. But one thing is for sure: The Bearded Man can now whistle all the way to the bank.
