Spanish DJ/Producer DOMO debuts on Aparenzza Music with his three-track ‘In The City’ EP. Boasting an impressive catalogue of releases on labels such as Innocent Music, Whoyostro and many more, Spain’s DOMO opens his account with Aparenzza Music in May in the form of an impressive three-track EP titled ‘In The City’. Kicking off with the title cut, ‘In The City’ comes in hot with chugging drum grooves, fizzing hats and catchy synth stabs over the top of a roaring sub-bass. A track with instant appeal, its fetching spoken vocals keep you locked into its journey as it modulates through a kaleidoscope of atmospheric breakdowns and weighty danceable segments. ‘Too Hot’ comes next, bringing more bouncing beats and shuffled percussive drive. A funky bassline leads the way through charming female vocals, deepened piano lines and silky pads to carve out a pleasantly late-night Deep Tech number that will do more than get your toes tapping. ‘Snitch’ closes the release with more dreamy flavours from the outset, building around tight drums, thickened bass notes and gliding layers of rich melody dissected by an Old-School Garage-style Organ as it floats through an ebb and flow of mesmeric builds and subtle drops.
