Öspiel

Modern, industrial-leaning techno with minimalistic aesthetics is a niche that this universe doesn't offer enough of at this moment of time. Öspiel is one of the artists who is contributing to this (nowadays) obscure branch of techno and he does it flawlessly. Void+1 succeeded in acquiring his latest offering of razor-sharp, intelligently engineered productions in the form of a conceptual EP called "And Still I Drift". It consists of 4 tracks that will keep your mind engaged and become an essential part of your sets due to their club-oriented nature.While the inspiration-origins of all tracks are not entirely clear, we obtained intel that one of them was constructed around a scene from one of the most famous, space/time movies of all time and that another one was created as tribute to a deceased Artist who he admires.
EPs that are simultaneously and equally as effective as they are interesting are a rare breed. "And Still I Drift" definitely falls under that category.
Telling you to keep an eye on Öspiel is not necessary, as you will surely do it anyway after you hear such a marvelous EP as this one.
