ELM (IN)

This new release features three original tracks along with two stunning remixes: one from Apellum, who previously released an excellent EP on Aum Recordings, and another from ELM of the highly promising label qillarecords. Both artists bring their unique character and creativity, transforming the originals into fresh and inspiring interpretations. 
I first met Apellum at this year’s Moment Festival, and as for ELM, we connected after one of his DJ sets at a Berlin club event earlier this year. Coincidentally, it was right after I had purchased a qillarecords vinyl, and that chance encounter led to great conversations and eventually this exciting collaboration. 
For the originals, I explored a style that blends an organic atmosphere with my previous sound. Particular attention was given to melodic phrasing, carefully balanced to dissolve into the overall texture of each track. In Mint, for example, the dynamic interplay of frequencies and resonances gradually layers into the main break, creating a powerful sonic expansion.
This EP is another step into new stylistic territory for me, and I’d love for you to check it out.
