Als ich mit unschuldigen 16 Jahren, Tag und Nacht nur noch von dieser einen Sache träumte und ich wusste es würde erst enden wenn ich es mein Eigen nennen durfte. Als ich dann endlich mein erstes selbstverdientes Geld in den Händen hielt gab es nur noch einen einen Weg, das Erfüllen dieses schon so langen Traum. Die ersten eigenen Tables! Meine ersten gesparten Lehrlingslöhne wanderte in zwei MK2 1210er Tables und einem 2 Kanal New Mark Battlemixer. Das erste eigene Equipment ist etwas ganz Besonderes, das man nie wieder vergisst...Jeder der diese Hingabe und Anziehung zur Musik kennt, stimmt mir da gerne zu :) Die Liebe und Faszination zur Elektronischen Musik hatte mich bereits schon so früh für immer in seinen unglaublich starken Bann gezogen. Doch noch war es nicht ganz geschafft, die Letzte und auch schwerste Hürde war das fehlende Verständnis meiner Eltern für meine Leidenschaft. Das Ausgeben meiner Ersparnisse, bescherten mir daraufhin 2 hart nicht endenwollende Tage, endloser Diskussionen und Auseinandersetzungen in. Schließlich mussten auch sie erkennen, das mich nichts und niemand mehr davon abhalten konnte. Ab dem Moment, als damals noch im elterlichen Kinderzimmer Alles aufgebaut war, hörte ich nicht mehr auf die Nadeln runter zu „schruppen“, bis ich endlich nach mir schon endlos vorkommenden Stunden (vielleicht auch Tage) harter Arbeit, mein erstes fehlerfreies Set aufgenommen hatte. Mein Ehrgeiz war nicht mehr zu bremsen und bald schon qualifizierte ich mich für meinen ersten echten „GIG“ Damals im wohlbekannten „Market“ in Nürnberg. Ich fing an meinen eigenen Style zu entwickeln und dieser sorgte dann auch dafür das ich als Belohnung meines Einsatz und Fleiss, Ich mich unter meinem ersten Pseudonym „DJ Tikker“, 2 Jahre in Folge (1999,2000) gegen ca. 1500 Mitstreiter beim überregionalen DJ Kontest durchsetzte. Die Final Tables bestanden am Ende darin, das die besten 10 live gegeneinander batteln, bis der Beste übrig ist. Dieser erste Erfolg beflügelte mich und gab mir das nötige Vertrauen, das mein Style und mein Sound genau auf dem richtigen Weg ist. In den darauffolgenden Wochen konnte ich mein Können erneut vor Publikumsgrößen der Clubs wie z. B. dem wohlbekannten „Hirsch“ und bei Supporter-Jobs wie „WarmUps“ mit Größen „DJ Rush“ oder „Chris Liebing“ unter Beweis stellen. Ich fing an mich dadurch zu einem regelrechtem Lokalmatador zu etablieren und spielte national in weiten Teilen Bayerns, als auch International im Nachtleben Österreichs.
