Owner of one of the UK’s newest emerging venues, The Spray Shop, Eldon debuts on Aparenzza Music. Backing up releases on Hottrax, Kaluki, Sola, Nervous, Trick, and many more, Liverpool-based DJ/Producer Eldon follows the launch of his new venue, The Spray Shop, with another emphatic music release as he debuts on Aparenzza Music with ‘Cars N’ Women’. Also featured on the release, Manchester’s Joseph Edmund drops a killer remix to round off the EP. ‘Cars N’ Women’ gets things moving with punchy groves and rhythmic low-frequency drive built around impactive vocal sampling and subtly pulsating melodies from start to finish - a track with progressive energy, heaps of mutilation and broad soundscapes throughout, perfect for peak-time sets. ‘Catch 22’ comes next with more full-bodied beats and endless amounts of attitude. A certified rump-shaker from the outset, its thickened kicks and shuffled hat grooves pave the way for delicate percs, voxes and a chunky bassline to steer the track effortlessly. ‘Round’ follows with techno-esque connotations, bringing thumping kicks and sizzling percussive drive from the off. A clever combination of playful synths, plucked bass notes, and a catchy vocal hook is a centrepiece here, delivering nostalgic vibes and endless danceability. Joseph Edmund seals the deal with his remix of ‘Round’, giving it a murky deep tech makeover focused around undulating drum work, ominous vox stabs, quirky fills and endless layers of movement-invoking percussion. Eldon’s ‘Cars N Women’ is available from 7th April 2023 on Aparenzza Music.
