Starting his career in the early days of Chicago house, Jimi Polo has created countless cult classics. Finding his fame in London when spotted by Soul II Soul, he has since spent time across Europe collaborating with artists that range from Kenny Dope to Daft Punk. This release celebrates two of his best-loved tracks from his prolific body of work. Opening with the unmistakable ‘Better Days’, a record that has been sampled by the likes of Fatboy Slim and Blur, the emotive keys and heartfelt vocals make it a club track with real soul. The release also features Sasha’s deep and grooving remix, destined for the darker recesses of the dancefloor. ‘Free Yourself’ maintains the same classic house sound, with a melodic piano, pumping beat and a deep and wandering bassline that make it a bona fide club classic.
