Trace the roots of house music in the UK and you’ll find Pete Heller and Terry Farley at its source. Shoom, Future, Spectrum, The Trip; they were there. Their productions are steeped in the sights and sounds of UK house music history, and the most influential nightclubbing moments of the last 25 years. 1997’s ‘White Powder Dreams’ is now getting a new lease of life on 4 To The Floor. Standout mixes include the Roach Motel Remix, where two Heller & Farley aliases combine, with more soul-oriented Fire Island the original credit, Roach Motel step in to take the track deeper and darker. The Hot ‘N’ Spycy Dub from Angel Moraes is also a classic in its own right, designed for dark and smoky backrooms. The Murk Vocal Mix with its tribal drums and futuristic synths highlights the incredible vocals from the classic track.
