Croatian duo PEZNT, aka Blacksoul and Mark De Line, make their debut on DFTD with their sunshiny ‘Down Under EP’ after the production duo appeared on the Defected Croatia 2017 compilation with their bongo-heavy ‘Burek’. Making a very strong start, lead track ‘Toxic Love’ received the Most Rated stamp of approval on the Defected Radio Show long before release. It features infectious vocals from Gregers laden with a deep bassline and piano riffs delivering pure summertime vibes. ‘Down Under’ boasts the same positivity with its down-tempo beat, dreamlike keys and filtered vocal stabs.
