As a taster for his Deep, Down & Defected Volume 8 mix album, Noir drops a two track EP where he revisits and reworks Nick Curly’s ‘Underground’ and ‘You’ by Pitto. Opening proceedings Noir’s remix of ‘Underground’ is more up-tempo than Nick Curly’s original version, pairing the soulful vocals with lively chords and deep groovy bassline. Noir’s remix of ‘You’ stays true to Pitto’s charismatic vocal but the track’s sharp percussion layers bring a deeper momentum than the original’s predominantly tropical vibe.
