With the title track, Tobias’ own haunting, James Blake-esque vocals combined with deeply atmospheric production values create a melancholy slice of down tempo techno that simply melts the heart. ‘Marran’ heads into minimal territory, but without forsaking the inherent soul that is a part of Tobias’ productions while, with their remix of ‘Portraits’, Canadian producers EZLV create a dancefloor ready tech groove without forsaking the intricate detail of the original.
