Fleeting moments spring inimitable visions.

To kick off our celebration of 5 Years Differential, we revisit Leniz’ impeccable debut album Perceptions on Reality. With remixes from both longstanding Differential members and legends in the scene, Different Perspectives on Reality is a celebration of the sounds we love and music we all groove to.

Following the spectacular remixes by Seba, SiLi and Phloem that dropped in February, the full album also includes fresh takes by Pyxis, Finnadrift, Henry and Dustkey, each adding their own twist and a unique new vibe to the already iconic tracks. 

The first two new tracks are by Pyxis and Finnadrift, two extremely talented producers with an affinity for groove, atmosphere and intriguing soundscapes. They both combine the dreamy atmosphere and melodic elements from the originals with a bouncy new bassline and crispy drums, with Finnadrift even turning the original house tune into a soulful drum and bass roller. 

Next up is Henry, transforming the ethereal and heavy jungle track The Breaking Point featuring Damzel into a deep, eerie roller. Throughout his remix he manages to take the original feeling off the track, turn it up to 11 and create something so mysterious and melancholic that it’s hard to put in words. 

Last but not least, Differential crew member and label stalwart Dustkey takes the already reworked Word for Word and switches the tempo for an energetic house flip. Taking the iconic atmosphere of the original and adding some new chords, some head bobbing-swing and interesting fills, Dustkey manages to make it seem like he never produced anything else and his Word for Word remix is a treat for anyone to listen or dance to. 

We felt there was no better way to introduce our 5 Years anniversary than with a project as exciting and varied as this one. With top quality remixes delivered by both new and familiar faces, we’re proud to release the remix LP of the first ever album on Differential. Expect loads of new music this year, all with the characteristic Differential vibe and quality!
