Opening with “Communicate”, a skeletal transmission pulses with emotional interference, while “Romanticism” dives into rounded deepchord dub transmissions carved into rhythm. “My Own Fog” meanders through celestial atmosphere, a vaporous reverie anchored by perfectly measured percussion. “Og Status” closes the EP with militant poise, pacing itself through echoic play, dubby, brooding, and tightly wound. Wisconsin Romantic is a slow-burning elegy for distance, disconnection, and romantic dissonance, functional on the floor, but haunted by the industrial ghosts of the coldest America.
