Each release in the Ballads series highlights a different facet of Promenade’s musical identity. In Ballads 5, the rhythms are gently infused with chill-hop influences, creating a warm, introspective atmosphere. While this chapter leans into laid-back textures, its successor, Ballads 6, returns to a more rolling groove—yet remains equally enjoyable whether on the dancefloor or through a pair of headphones.
