Analytical Convenience presents M3STR - Magnetic Rose EP.

We’re back with an in-house EP from M3STR, bringing us a sonic tale of mystery and eeriness.

Inspired by the Magnetic Rose short story from Memories (1995) by Katsuhiro Otomo & Satoshi Kon, these tracks were produced by the artist after a surge of inspiration as a result from having watched the film, giving us as a reimagined soundtrack to this classic.

Throughout the EP, we journey across intriguing atmospheres and melodic hooks always accompanied by powerful grooves, aimed for a mental experience on the dance floors.

On remix duties we have with us Dust Devices, with a new dystopic vision on  “Dreaming”.
In it, we’re carried through a cinematic flight alongside his carefully crafted synthlines.

”A space crew is called upon to investigate a distress signal from what ought to be an abandoned space station, run by an AI opera diva. The AI manipulates life support, VR, and nano systems, posing dangers the crew must overcome to survive.”
