Berlin-based label …is serving continues its deep dive into queer techno terrains with its ninth offering: a three-track EP from BOYCA, the elusive producer carving out their own pocket of club-space where distortion meets devotion.

On IS009, BOYCA channels raw intensity and hypnotic seduction into three uncompromising tracks. 
“Scream_” opens with urgent vocals and tightly coiled percussion, building into a cathartic climax of noise and drive. “The Necessary Substance” stretches the tension further—an eerie, minimal roller laced with fragmented samples and slow-burning rhythm mechanics. Closing cut “Deep Thxxxt_” is the most direct: a gritty, bass-heavy tool built for smoke-filled basements and late-night release, saturated with warped vocals and a twisted groove.

True to the imprint’s mission, …is serving delivers techno with a point of view—textured, physical, and emotionally charged. This release reaffirms BOYCA as a distinct voice in the scene: fierce, sensual, and unafraid to push.
