Markoman

After nearly three decades shaping the drum and bass landscape, Slovenian pioneer and internationally acclaimed producer/DJ Markoman (Marko Zidaric) proudly announces the launch of his new record label, ILLEGAL AUDIO. The label kicks off its journey in 2025 with Markoman's own highly anticipated solo release, the "Dream EP".

Fulfilling a long-held vision, ILLEGAL AUDIO emerges from Markoman's rich history – from founding the influential Illegal Kru  and promoting the early Slovenian DnB scene  to achieving global recognition with projects like Telekinesis. The "Dream EP" serves as a powerful statement of intent for the label.   

True to its role as a flagship release, the "Dream EP" showcases Markoman's mastery across a spectrum of drum and bass styles. Listeners can expect a journey through sound, reflecting his deep roots in the genre. This stylistic breadth isn't just a retrospective; it's a deliberate preview of the label's A&R philosophy, promising a platform for diverse and forward-thinking drum and bass.   

"This label is the culmination of everything I've experienced in music," says Markoman. "The 'Dream EP' is just the beginning. We aim to release music that excites, challenges, and represents the full energy and diversity of drum and bass."
