Marvin Humes

Our next release on Love & Other comes from DJ, producer and broadcaster, Marvin Humes, who debuts on the label with brand-new single, ‘Put Your Hands Up’. Born and raised in South London, Marvin’s fascination with music started from an early age. After being influenced by the likes of Todd Terry, Frankie Knuckles and Masters at Work, his father, who was a DJ, gave him the chance to play regular support slots at his own shows.

Since then, he has played sets at some of the world’s most prestigious nightclubs including Ushuaia, Ibiza Rocks, Pacha and Hï in Ibiza, performing b2b sets with Jonas Blue, Sigma and Sigala alongside headline slots at We Are FSTVL and Lovebox in the UK. With past support from David Guetta, Roger Sanchez, MistaJam, Charlie Hedges and Anton Powers, Marvin’s new single, ‘Put Your Hands Up’ looks set to be another club anthem! Showcasing Marvin’s signature slick House style with an infectious, playful bassline, weighty drum patterns, an instantly recognisable hypnotic vocal sample and uplifting melodies keeping the energy high from start to finish.
