Next up on Kaluki, we welcome Amsterdam DJ and producer, Joey Daniel to the firm, with his debut ‘Upper Down East’ EP. Joey’s career can be summed up as nothing less than a well-deserved rise to fame. 

The Rotterdam born DJ has been making waves in the Dutch dance scene for nearly a decade now and has become a key figure in Dutch nightlife, a trusted provider of acclaimed sets, having played nearly every club and festival across the country. 

Key milestones from Joey’s career include releases on some of the biggest labels in the scene including Moon Harbour, Moan, Get Physical, Knee Deep In Sound, Snatch!, Do Not Sleep and elrow alongside sold out performances at the BPM Festival, elrow Barcelona, Time Warp, Awakenings and Space Ibiza. The ‘Upper Down East’ EP is indictive of Joey’s signature sound, infusing rolling basslines, hypnotic drum loops, shuffling percussion, trippy synth patterns and a grooving low-end. Enjoy!
