Heidelberg-based duo Hedström & Pflug return with the eighth release on the '...is serving' imprint, continuing their deep dive into stripped-back, detail-rich techno. On '...is serving008', the pair present a refined sonic landscape—equal parts hypnotic and raw—where tight percussion, eerie pads, and subtle shifts conjure tension and release in equal measure.

Across the release, Hedström & Pflug prove once again that less can indeed be more. Their minimalist approach is never sterile; instead, it breathes, pulses, and slowly unravels on the dancefloor. '...is serving008' is a sharp-edged tool for DJs and a meditative loop for home listeners—precision-crafted techno with a soul.

On remix duties, Ecuador-based producer Tobhias Guerrero offers a deep, seductive rework—slowing the tempo and dialing into the textures with patience and poise. His version transforms the original into a rolling groove weapon, both subtle and immersive. A perfect companion to the original—distinct in voice, but united in spirit.
