Actraiser

Ambra Recordings gears up for its 16th release, this time by Bristolian drum & bass stalwart Actraiser. Stepping away from his usual vibes, rolling and uptempo, Actraiser now brings us a more modest, stripped back collection of tunes.

First up is 'Nebulus', a deep stepper with surprising break cuts and heartfelt piano licks. The surges of light synth play add an extra dimension while being underlined by Actraiser's signature hoover bass . Lovely! We continue with 'Warm Embrace' that's based around washes of colour and otherworldy atmosphere. It's spaced out however the producer's concept and vision is crystal clear showing great versatility and skill with this release. We're looking forward hearing more!
