Buru

This next release on Konstruktiv follows on from the super special vinyl version of the Radio Slave remixes and comes from BuRu. It features three original tracks and two remixes and is another winning package. Up first, Fist is a scurrying, rusted techno cut with firm drums, groaning synths and lots of lo-fi texture. Others is then a more syncopated beat with rattling bell sounds, rubbery kicks and a real sense of propulsion before the final original Curfew, really ups the ante and is a slamming, subliminal tech cut with forceful drums, gravelling bottom ends and heady sine waves.  The remix of this one from Nauruan Stranger is a more housey affair with rollicking drums that rock back and forth and have some trip synth injected into their bones. Then the famous Rekord 61 runs out a fine version of Others that is full of high pressure drums, nervy vocal stabs and intense synths.  This is another fantastic package from Konstruktiv that proves the label really does know its house and techno onions.
