Level 2

Pedro Lima, also known as Level 2, has already made quite a mark on the Brazilian Drum and Bass scene. At 31 years old, Pedro began his career as a producer in 2007, the following year he saw his first signing with one of the leading labels in Drum & Bass, V Recordings. In 2012 Level 2 was featured on his first compilation for V, with exclusive tracks from other prominent Brazilian producers – entitled ‘Viva Brazil’.  This proved to be only the beginning for Mr. Lima.  Shortly thereafter he went on to release a series of releases for the V Recs family, including bits for their sister label Chronic.  Other labels releasing his work include the likes of Innerground, Dutty Audio and Horizons Music.  In 2015, Level 2 shows no signs of letting up.  Now Prestige Music is proud to present these amazing examples of Level 2’s prowess to our digital catalog. In March 2015, PMG will see the release of ‘Good Love’ / ‘Retreats’ through Triple Vision Distribution – Rotterdam.  Good Love features a very moody interpretation of layered pads coupled with a quite delayed/flanged vocal snippet.  This tune may not be a front-center dancefloor filler, but for those that know and appreciate quality Drum & Bass music, the composition is 100.  Retreats offers up something unlike what we are used to, with a halfstep intro/outro squeezed between a very crisp high hat arrangement, and some very dark key stabs.  All in good taste, and getting big support from DJs across the globe.  Prestige Worldwide!
