Nowadays we live in an era of minimally processed products, an age where electronic music is no longer a meticulous and painstaking craft but instead becomes a dish of "fast food", an easy-to-digest and cheap product. 

Luckily, there are still musicians who refuse to enter this business circle and continue exploring, investigating all angles of this Clubbing culture. 

Joton has been following this way since the beginning of his career. He has been learning, experimenting, looking for the roots sound, and shaping its complexity until reaching a Techno style full of energy and depth. 

Casting Out Nines is the culmination of years of work. It is the first album in more than a decade of waiting. A conscious and intentional type of wait to find the formula that leaked everything learned and experienced to get an authentic product away from any commercial contamination. 

Casting out nines is a mathematical formula to validate complex multiplications and divisions, an ancient tool that our parents learned at school before the age of computers. Using this concept, Joton has created an album with nine songs that have passed different filters to be realized. 

Casting Out Nines looks beyond the established, it is not just a musical proposal, it is a complete product that features artists from various disciplines working together to merge art and music using the complexity of the mathematical concept as reference. 

In this album, Joton offers a seamless sensory experience, where you are invited to a one-way trip through the more industrial Techno roots.

Vivimos una época de productos poco elaborados, una época dónde la música electrónica ha dejado de ser un trabajo artesanal, minucioso y concienzudo para convertirse en un plato de “comida rápida”, un producto fácil de digerir y barato. 

Por suerte aún existen músicos que se resisten a entrar en este círculo comercial y continúan explorando, indagando en todos los ángulos de la cultura Clubbing. 

Joton lleva en este camino desde los inicios de su carrera, aprendiendo, experimentando, buscando las raíces del sonido, moldeando su complejidad hasta conseguir un estilo Techno lleno de energía y profundidad. 

Casting Out Nines es la culminación de años de trabajo, el primer álbum tras más de una década de espera, una espera consciente e intencionada para encontrar la fórmula que filtrase todo lo aprendido, todo lo experimentado hasta conseguir un producto auténtico y alejado de cualquier contaminación comercial. 

La Prueba del Nueve es una fórmula matemática para validar multiplicaciones y divisiones complejas, una antigua herramienta que nuestros padres aprendían en la escuela antes de la era de las computadoras. Utilizando este concepto, Joton ha creado un álbum con nueve temas que han pasado diferentes filtros hasta hacerse realidad. 

Casting Out Nines traspasa lo establecido, no es solamente una propuesta musical, es un producto completo que cuenta con artistas de varias disciplinas trabajando juntos para fusionar el arte y la música utilizando la complejidad de las matemáticas como concepto de referencia. 

Con este álbum Joton te propone una experiencia sensorial sin fisuras, dónde te invita a un viaje sin retorno por las raíces del Techno más industrial.
