We start our second year in the business with this EP by North American / Berlin based producer Jamaica Suk. Formerly bass player, multidisciplinar musician, techno gourmet, she bring us four slices of precise, mechanical but at the same time soulful techno.
Release starts with Cultural Dimensions: round kick, subbass pulsations, hi frequency clicks and synthetic percussions are the main ingredients, arranged in a complex timeline spiced with subtle drones and a sharp hi hats with a pristine sound design.
Following, Requiem bring us to darker territories, Kraftwerkian bleeps, raw rhythms, flanged sequences and all you may need for a perfect construction tool.
Third in the line is Deep Meridian, this time flowing towards dubby Berliner mood, precise echoed chords, a shuffled groove and profound textures make this track a deep techno timeless piece.
Closing the release Scape switch up tempos, speed up grooves and creates a peak time workout, rolling and hypnotising.
A complete and tasteful release from a producer who is already making waves in our scene.
