Fresh from the success of the 'Peace Of Mind' LP, Mindtech Recordings present their latest album project from Belgian neurofunk duo HUMAN ERROR!
Alongside their solo Sinecore and T-Psy aliases, Sylvain Colmant and Gilles De Ro have been collaborating as Human Error since 2010. With releases on Close2Death, Future Funk Music and Trust In Music and their first album released by Kaiza's T3K imprint in 2012, the duo have been a formidable force on the Belgian scene for some time now. Between a busy schedule playing shows all over Europe they have spent the last two years in the studio gathering their best tracks, and now Human Error take their journey to the next level as their sophomore LP 'Intersection' drops on Mindtech.
'Intersection' wastes no time, with opening track 'Fearless' immediately turning the energy levels up to 11 for a massive slice of heavy hitting future funk powered along by the vocals of MC Shot. Tracks like 'Anger', 'Last Day' and the title track 'Intersection' continue this theme with rolling breaks, hyperkinetic basslines and super crisp production making for a powerful ride.
The LP also showcases the duo's versatile production style, with the influence of trap and hip-hop shining through on the playful percussion rolls of 'My Nation' and the hyped up intro of 'On The Floor'. Elsewhere melody takes centre stage on the uplifting euphoria of closing track 'Budapest By Night', and the melancholy 'Lose My Soul', with Sisley bringing her soulful vocals to the track alongside bright drums and soft piano. 'Intersection' sees Mindtech bringing another fantastic release from a neurofunk production duo who's rise seems set to continue throughout 2016 and beyond.
