Phlex is an Italian producer and dj. He has started producing back in 2011 when he won together with Maize the first prize of the Ammunition Recordings (USA) remix competition. Short after he signs his first solo Ep with the established label Close 2 Death. “Last breath of darkness”is his first album: a ten track LP featuring collaboration with Hanzo, MC Shot, Mikei and Arnaud Fataki.
The album holds a large mix of different neuro sounds & styles: sometimes more aggressive and dancefloor oriented, sometimes more focused on the melodies. Phlex album is bound together by his oldschool neurofunk heroes lessons, and the final result is a modern retelling of that world.
