Hailing from Australia’s dynamic electronic scene, Pillai’s deft touch brings a unique depth to the catalog, emphasizing subtle complexity and rich textural layering.

“Korg Bleep” doubles down on the playful and mechanized, its resonant bleeps fluttering like coded transmissions over a framework of sharp, rattling percussion. The title track, ”Perihelix”, spins a web of cyclical synth patterns underpinned by a weighty yet agile low-end, deftly navigating between micro-fractured details and a steady, propulsive drive. ”Tiede” offers a more full-bodied yet immersive voyage, where electric motifs pulse through a foggy atmosphere, weaving tension and release into a cohesive, energetic hallmark.

On remix duties, UK-based FLAWS infuses Tiede with an angular and gritty reinterpretation, speeding the original’s tempo while injecting percussive twists and steely resolve. From China, Ma Haiping reshapes Perihelix with an exploratory, oblique momentum that channels cosmic dissonance, moulding the sound with his innovative flair, yet keeping its forward thrust steady.
