Pacific

Pacific follows up the sublime Tracers EP with a diverse yet cohesive collection of music on the Backyards EP: four unique tunes that showcase the full spectrum of Drum n Bass.  Fahrenheit 174 is a disco-tinged roller with cascading vocals and constant builds of energy swirling towards a boiling point of pure funk.  Blood Alley crashes thru next, a tech-fuelled locomotive powering thru the night, smashing anything in its path.  Far off in the distance, Overthink waits at the edge of another time and place, slowly rising in intensity as it begins to soar above the expanse before thundering down right in front of us.  The journey concludes in our own Backyards, where a widescreen 80s suburban sprawl intersects with futuristic minimalism, whispering vocals lacing a hypnotic rhythm in what is surely Pacific's most ambitious song yet.
