Shaven

Once again Shaven delivers a no bullshit straight to the point 3 track EP of techno stompers tailor made not only to ravage the dancefloor but for versatile DJ use as well.
The “Is This Love” EP opens with a trademark atmospheric Shaven track with an eerie melody throughout and industrial style percussive elements sending the listener into the abyss. With a long breakdown in the middle it could be considered the “biggest” track on the EP.

“Danzi” starts immediately with a punchy kick and EBM- esque melody letting everyone know they mean business. Later on a non-obvious 303 melody is introduced which grabs your ear and won’t let go until the end. A2 is more a tool style track great for transitions but not lacking in heaviness.

“Signs” is a combination of the first two, where hypnotic atmospheric melodies are woven throughout and repetitive percussive elements keep the energy going. Another tool style track which keeps the listener on the edge the entire time.
