We are happy to announce Aula Magna's first release, a various artists 12" that sets the stage for what's to come. Taking on the dubbier side of techno and electronica, the record presents four bass-heavy and deeply physical cuts that showcase each artist's view on futuristic noise-oriented electronic dance music. 

The A side kicks off with "Portal", a live-set highlight from Seph's last world tours that drives energetically into mayhem with it's acid hook, warped noises and spiraling dub pads. A more distorted and hypnotic vibe sets in with "Raíz", the second track of the EP by Mekas that loops forward with the artist's characteristic subterranean bass and dub chords. On the flip side, the listener is welcomed by Qik's mysterious "Hearth", a deeper although funkier tune with a sci-fi push, abstract details and syncopated claps. Pablo Denegri's "Odessa Rain" closes the record in a more laid-back manner, bringing together glitch and organic shades in a broken beat that looses itself in smokey layers of dub-inspired sounds.
