Nørbak

Our new digital release comes from from portuguese producer Nørbak, an expert in dense textured techno often played by the deeper selectors out there. He offers no less than seven cuts for this extended EP.

Yute is the firestarter, micro Fm bells, compact drum workout, heavy subbass action and an expert arrangement. Nunca follows, slowing down the pace, low filtered drones and white noise and subtle hypnotic sequences. Jutero add extra groove with analog congas and flanged textures spiced with atmospheres and micro percussions. In Faktor we find similar elements, opaque feelings, filtered components, dynamic structure all without parafernalia.

Jutf goes back to prime time action, with a funked up groove, spaced out pads and continuous sequencing. Gyer is scifi techno at its best, pulsating synth lines run along bleeps and heavy reverberated landscapes. Biry closes the release with opaque drum sounds, and panned alien details in various layers that mutate and run all over the arrangement.

A serious exercise of scientifically cradted techno, attemporal, out of tendences and personal.
