Are we at a Rave? Or are we in the deepest Jungle of our feelings? That inner-place where fears and thoughts are steaming, and Spectres are fiercely shouting, hoping their voice will get to our ears. One thing’s for sure, we can perceive those feelings boiling, depicting a descent into a realm full of creative tension. ‘Under New Eyes’ is a club burner, in the true sense of the term. 
Klawd makes chords vibrate like sinews in a feverish escape from the rational, while heart and drum beat as one, relentless, exhausted and exhausting. Double-faced sounds chase each other, as impenetrable as the mental paths they represent, at the same time as piercing and sharp. The tracks flow like movie sketches, and a new element is introduced, as long as new sensations pervade the body. Acid squishes, huge-rounded kicks, excited percussions, alien glitch-like bleeps make this EP a Masterpiece of haunting and blurry sounds. 
‘Under New Eyes’ is Klawd’s first artistic outcome, delivering unique soundscapes, with a soulful drive that seems the perfect match for both peak time and mid-set listening. 
We could define it as ‘Futuristic’ music, with its praise to the aesthetics of noise, although these are not engine noises, but noises of the mind, of the soul, and the machine attached to this organ when it’s about to kick in.
A mature perspective on what self-acceptance really is: aggressive, tormented, yet vulnerable, then numb. It’s an anticlimax towards full detachment from the toxic restraints of human Ego. Some might say it’s dramatic, decadent and disillusioned, but it could also be seen as introspective, irreverent, and most of all celebratory. 
‘Under New Eyes’ is the way Klawd tells us a story and makes a movie out of sounds. There’s no way we can escape from our own past. We’re better off embracing darkness, in a mindful attempt to see the world from a different standpoint.
