Confluence

Gostwork

We super welcome again one of our favourite agents from the East, Confluence, this time teaming up with fellow secret agent Gostwork on behalf of a powerful four tracker showing diverse approaches on advanced dance music.

Infrequent opens fire, with a crossover of Sheffield bleep sounds and the sweeping sustained basses of the swedish acts from the beginning of  21st century. The result is progressive funker.

Sequence of events follows, a tiny kick drum is soon joined by 303 non filtered lines and vocal samples spiced with mini drones. An opaque static acidic workout.

Addicted goes ravey and hypnotic, with a well know chopped old school sample coming in and out ... could be a bootleg or a reedit of something you may know, for us is a brilliant hit.

Crossbreed closes the release with obsessive sequences, raw machine drums and occasional white noise washes.

As always, fresh things coming from the east …
