Ahmad

Germany's Ahmad/Acid_Lab/Kodama is well-known throughout the drum and bass community for his expansive work in dark electronic arts through a variety of different styles, from his more introspective Kodama work (see his last LP on Urban Poetry) to his ultra-heavy work as Acid Lab and his deeper 170 excursions as Ahmad on a plethora of well-known labels over the last decade. We had to choose a moniker for this release and it was Ahmad, but really the palette of sounds on offer span his spectrum on the Incubation EP. From the razor beats of Into Blackness to the static-and-bass explorations of Micaya sandwiching the deep dark adventures that are Incubation and Inversion, this is the man at his finest. We don't want to be pigeonholed for any particular sound and either does Ahmad. Vibes here, big big vibes.
