Artsea

Artsea delivers a nostalgic, thoughtful journey with his latest two-track onesevenfour release, featuring "Submergence" and "Pale Butterflies." Known for his signature use of vocals and atmospheric melody, Artsea once again showcases his ability to blend emotion with musical intricacy.
"Submergence" opens with
 ambient keys and nostalgic effects, setting a mellow, reflective tone. Artsea’s own vocals add a personal touch, gently guiding the track into its silky bass drop. The interplay between smooth liquid drums and melancholic piano creates a rich sonic landscape. A subtle arpeggiator section follows the breakdown, using bell-like plucks to build a delicate yet engaging atmosphere. The track's progression flows naturally, with a slow, graceful withdrawal of its key elements at the end, leaving a lingering sense of calm.

On the flip side, "Pale Butterflies" begins with reversed-like samples and a thought-provoking male vocal that urges us to "constantly examine our hearts." Pitched vocals weave in and out of the track, adding an ethereal layer to the vibrant composition. Just before the drop, a delicate melody and vocal build the tension, releasing into a rich, full bassline accented by subtle sounds of nature. The breakdown returns to the reflective male vocal, warning against life's wrong turns, before leading into its playful second drop.

This release further solidifies Artsea's place in the liquid Drum & Bass world, offering a perfect mix of nostalgia, introspection, and vibing energy.
