It’s extremely gratifying for us to see that we’re about to slate our 20th release on the label. Born from a necessity for us to showcase the fantastic talent that has graced the booth at our parties, friends of the label, and incredible online acquaintances that we’ve made from the traction gained from our releases, G.O.R.D.A (Greatest Originals & Remixes Dropped Æver) aims to pinpoint some of the essential tracks that define our labels first 10 releases, our ethos and sound. This compilation materialises itself from our artists capability to craft well-defined, sophisticated Techno, equal parts heavy-hitting and elegant, some drenched in nebulised atmosphere, some gritty, broken, and carefully etched into walls of static noise. It’s been a tough task for us to gather just 10 tracks from a slew of stellar EPs and VAs that have made us infinitely proud of the talent we are surrounded by. We are overwhelmed by all the great music we’ve been able to release and thank all the artists for their music, and all the supporters for keeping our music in circulation, and our projects ever growing. If you’re new to Gordo Trax, we hope this can be a taster for our labels music and all the great artists who have made it, and we hope this can push you to explore the rest of our catalogue.
