OECUS third digital release OCSDGTL003 | VA comes with five well curated original tracks that take one on an intense ride through a deep sound spectrum. Familiar faces from their own rows crafted alongside new and talented artists, the unique and wiring tone of this powerful VA.

Anthony Tring’s “Phase 3” lures us right in with pulsating rhythms, accompanied by an evolving droning synth that creeps into the perception of the listener. The feeling of a calm but powerful atmosphere is immediately evoked.

Followed by Kameliia’s energetic track “Pulsar”, which brings the listener into reminiscence of a big echoing industrial complex. A dissonant but shimmering lead intensifies the dystopian character of this track, driven forward through a relentless stomping kick drum.

Continued by Monovsn’s “Magnetic Flux”, a well-crafted track with dense atmosphere. Wiring frequencies in the air alongside shimmering synthesizers push and pull on each other, creating an emotion of void and magnetism.

With “Taking Turns” ASEC adds a brilliant yet relentlessly banging dance floor piece to this VA. Build up on atonal dirty layered leads, being conducted by minimalistic hi-hats and underlying creeping atmospheres.

Oxygeno rounds it up with his “False Concept”. Threatening yet droning atmospheres keep evolving through the whole track while a rolling groove alongside thundering soundscapes characterises the vibe of this well designed dystopian composition.

With OCSDGTL003 | VA the label keeps the focus on the hypnotic and atmospherical side of the genre, while keeping interesting rhythms to lead their listeners through void and time.

Be it its mesmerising synth lines or pulsating kick drums - this VA stands out with its droning, echoing and shifting textures with dirty atonal sound design.
