In Initiation, the EP kicks off with a combination of viscous sounds and pellucid sedative overtones which sets a serene tone to the beginning of the EP. Though this serenity is overshadowed by the noticeably more agile and darker elements of the following track titled Cosmic Hierarchy, which infuses a greater sense of urgency overall into the EP. The third track titled Alchemical Transmutation can be considered an amalgamation of the two previous tracks due to its juxtaposition of harsh drones and tranquil quasi-spiritual overtones which adds an element of intrigue and suspense to the EP. This aura of suspense is answered by the forceful and captivating bass the penultimate track of the EP titled Guardian of the Threshold, Vanta’s remix of which is distinguishable by virtue of its piercing acidic characteristics.
