Promenade

Promenade’s new album, called “Landscape Anatomy”, is awash with melancholia. Each track is an attempt to transform music into a functional form of sadness: when party people are detained, and are far from their 'sound system heaven', all that energy eventually rises from the depths of consciousness. In this loneliness driven, introspective and dark atmosphere, the energy delivered by the drums is the only way way to avoid the slippery slopes of chaos. As usual, Promenade explores a specific mood, avoiding any sensationalism: the eight tracks are designed to work together as if they were parts of a human body, and the final result can be perceived as the map of his emotional landscape.
